Our protector uses an ultra-thin, flexible waterproof barrier designed for everyday moisture protection — without the density, noise, or stiffness of traditional plastic covers. To meet GOTS organic standards, we minimize synthetic materials by pairing a breathable, waterproof layer with GOTS-certified organic cotton, which supports airflow, comfort, and quieter sleep. No rigid plastic encasements are used.
EASY CARE
Our waterproof protector is meant to be washed before use. That’s because the organic certified cotton will shrink. It may take multiple washes until it’s the perfect fit for your mattress. For future washes, simply spot clean or machine wash using an eco-conscious laundry detergent. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low, or just air it out on the line until completely dry.
WHY ORGANIC MATTERS
Conventional cotton is a polluted crop. So we use organic cotton for the two absorptive layers sandwiching the waterproof barrier, as well as on the fitted elastic skirt. Best of all, organic cotton delivers a luxurious and soft finish, breathes easily, and wicks away moisture better than any synthetic.
